In line with the essence of
"making a difference",
Banglalink has recently
initiated a donation of free
blankets across the needy
community to help them
withstand the spate of extreme
cold wave that is currently
continuing throughout the country.
On behalf of Banglalink, Irum
Iqbal, Manager, PR and
Communication donated the
blankets at one of the
orphanages Bauniabadh Islamia
Atimkhana, Mirpur, Pollobi,
Dhaka.
Free blankets were also
distributed in other
orphanages of Rajshahi, Borga,
Mymensigh, Khulna, Chittagong
and Dhaka regions.
As children are the most
vulnerable, they are the most
affected also. Orphanages
across the country are ill
equipped and hence children
often have inadequate means to
brace themselves from the cold
spell.
To help these underprivileged
children, Banglalink has taken
a special initiative to
distribute approximately 5000
blankets in various orphanages
across the country.
Today's children are the
future of tomorrow and
Banglalink truly believes in
this potential. Time and
again, focused attention has
been given on deprived
children through small
initiatives that made a big
difference in their lives.
During last Ramadan,
Banglalink conducted a number
of CSR activities concentrated
on helping underprivileged
children, including
distributing Iftar and dinner
during the whole month in
various orphanages.
